My only other suggestion is to try usi...Hi Carlton,<br />My only other suggestion is to try using circle hooks and frozen ciscoes in the same way as described in the blog for dead bait fishing for northern pike.<br />We catch lots of walleye fishing with the frozen ciscoes while pike fishing in the shallows. Could you do the same thing over deep water while the ciscoes (tulibees) are surfacing? I have often seen the rings on the lake surface on a calm evening, but could bot figure out what was the cause. Thanks for the answer. <br /><br />I have also seen results from Minnesota DNR netting survey suggesting that the cisco could be the most populus species in the lakes. Thus are we over looking an extremely important source of food in the lake for the larger game fish and a possible technique for catching these monsters game fish?
